Detroit P.D. G22

I recently bought a Glock 22 that is a former Detroit P.D. sidearm. It is in great shape. The gun came with 3 hi-cap magazines in a Plano triangular case. I detail stripped the gun and cleaned the lint and mung out of the frame and its components. I haven't shot the gun yet as I want to replace the recoil spring and the New York trigger is gonna be replaced as well. The springs are on order from Wolff.... Here are a few pics of the G22

How heavy is the NY trigger, does it impede accuracy?

New York triggers are 8lb pull, pretty stiff compared to the stock 5lb. You can get them down to something like 3.5 lb with aftermarket springs like Wolfe's

Nice gun, kinda cool to have Detroit PD on the slide, how much??

G 22

Hello
Nice pistol, looks to be in great shape. I also like the Detroit P.D. on the slide.

AIM had these at $359 but are out of them. I kicked around getting one, but I don't shoot my Glock 35 as it is, so I didn't need another .40 that I wouldn't shoot..

Excellent value deal, though!! You won't ever lose a dime on that handgun.. Once the supply dries up on them, it'll be worth the same as any other used Glock of that vintage. And who's ever heard of a worn out Glock??

That's a good lookin' Gen. 2 G22... hehe... sorry, made me chuckle a bit.

I'd like to get a G22 for OC, but my G27 does me just fine for both OC and CC in my Blackhawk Serpa CQC holster. The G22 looks pretty cool in the G27 holster, though, with the front of the slide and frame coming out the bottom.
