Is the ammo scarcity and/or economy causing some of you to shoot less? My issue is not really the economy-its the ammo shortage...especially for my .380 & .38 (the two guns I carry often, of course). .22ammo doesn't seem to be a problem so when it dries out here, I think I will practice my .22LR. I'm about to buy a Bersa .380, but unless the ammo stocks up, I won't really have the means to practice with it.

hello everyone,i'm new to the group and yes i'm shooting alot less and it's killing me.i am having a tough time finding ammo but the 45 colt seems to be the hardest to find up this way.

yes, 380-auto, 45-colt, money(for the now EXPENSIVE 30-06 and 7.62x39), gas-money, has gotten kinda scarce......in town, all gas stations are $2.69+....i live north of town in county, and i never thought to look, except for yesterday, the gas station 2 miles north of me in the county, has gas for $2.39....WHY?!? did i not look sooner

Mike...still can't find 380 ammo anywhere-and as for gas..it is also rising in my area. I am now looking at $2.44/gal....still cheaper than your $2.69 but it was only $2.33 last week. What's the excuse for the rise in gas now????

.223 has gone up a lot and I noticed the lack of 380 as well. Gas is at 2.50ish OPEC controlling the flow of oil for summertime driving I suppose... increase in the price of bullets is a mystery though (Obama election)

I heard that the price of ammo/scarcity of ammo has something to do with it being shipped to our military units overseas....can't make them as quick as they are needed. But heresay is just that.....unless such things can be confirmed.

I was going to ask if anyone has noticed any relief has it pertains to obtaining ammo? I still cannot get .380 or .38 and the few places that do have them want to gouge the gun owner.....I sure hope this gets better soon...in the meantime, I will continue to shoot my .22....
