Star Model B Super 9mm Mods

I had read somewhere on how to mod the star Model B so when you remove the clip you can still fire the gun, The Star has a feature that when the clip is removed the gun locks, if there is a round in the chamber, you can't eject it untill a clip is put in the gun.
I looked at
http://world.guns.ru/handguns/hg79-e.htm
and
http://9mmlargo.com/star_spr/index.htm

with no luck so far.
Anyone know how to do this mod.

Paul

I have modified the Star M43 9mm to do that. I think I put a piece of a tooth pick somewhere in the mag well.

Hello. Remove the grips. You'll see a flatspring that runs vertically in a groove in the frame and held in by a hollow tube near the bottom of the magazine well. Tap it out and the whole thing leaves the gun. The magazine "safety" is then gone and can be easily replaced should you so desire.

Best./

Just curious to know why you would like to make the conversion?

When the safety is off and I pull the trigger, I want something to happen, with or without a magazine.

I tried this with my Star Modelo Super, but didn't have good luck. That spring also puts tension on the sear, and without it, the gun wouldn't function.
I had thought mine was a Super B, but it is apparently a slightly different model. I think it is a Super M, but am not absolutely sure.
