| Unusual Single Shot Rifle
Was at a gunshow and saw a beautiful single shot rifle. I asked the dealer who knew nothing of the rifle if I could take a picture. He allowed me to and even moved other arms out of the way to allow me to take the pic. The rifle is a single shot with a tilting block, the rifle is chambered in .22 Hornet. The scope rings appear to be manufactured as well by the person who's name is stamped on the receiver, W.A. Julian Jr, Gunsmith....The wood is what looks to me to be Curly Maple this is really nice! Very interesting! Looks like it's plenty strong for the Hornet cartridge! I'd love to range test it. How much was the dealer asking for it?

BigDog, It wasn't for sale only for viewing. What a neat action, there is a lever at the rear of the pivoting action. When the lever is pushed the breech block pivots down to load, push the action shut and pull the hammer back to fire. The workmanship on the rifle was outstanding... |

I'm always fascinated by the "one-offs", and envy those with the skill to make their dreamgun real.
