| Magazine conversion I have a savage with an internal mag. Can it be converted to a detachable mag. |

| I think by using a model 14 stock, you will be able to do that. |

| Thor's Hammer   | It can be converted I believe. But you will need access to a machine shop, or a bunch of money. I recently saw a Ruger M77 in 308 converted to take M14 mags. Guy said it cost him $500+ for the conversion.
