| H&R 22 mag I have an H&R 826, which is a 22 mag with a 3" barrel. Shot it for the first time yesterday and it was almost impossible to extract the fired empties. I did some research on the Midway site for a reamer. It appears to me that the cylinder diameter should be .244. Near as I could tell, mine was measuring somewhere between .242 and .244. Does anyone know if that is enough to make the fired empty stick? Any ideas on what to do so it will extract easily? Don't want to spend a bunch on the gun, but want to keep it and shoot it. |

| try wrapping some oooo steel wool around a small dowel and polishing the chambers until they shine like a new zippo. then fire it and see if the casings are still hard to extract. steve
