Who does rebluing near St. Louis?

I'm trying to help out a friend here and find out who does rebluing in the St. Louis area. The Illinois side would be best but he'll take what he can get. I've searched and not found anything yet so, I appreciate everyone's patience.

I would suggest making some inquiries at the local gun stores in your friends neighborhood. Some of them will invariably know a full service gunsmith with a good reputation.

blue & you

for a good do it yerself job look to "blue wonder" type a search and go. It's easy & provides a nice finish. If you wish you can contact Brownells & they have several options on a blue finish.

Tigercat, PM SeabeeScotty. He's a gunsmith and he does hot-bluing. I have a shotgun I need to send down to him after New Year's and the family finances recover from Her Imperial Majesty spending money like a sailor on shore leave on presents for Junior. (You have any idea what a rocket-type bubble gum machine and chromed stand for the fool thing costs?)

I'd definitely give Scotty a shot after seeing his work. Here are some other options
Find BBB Accredited Gunsmiths in Eastern Missouri & Southern Illinois

I'd suggest you send it VIA UPS to Doyles Gun Shop. You can beat the quality of his work or his low prices. I just sent him another one to blue for me this week. I have included a link to a Model 12 Winchester he did for me a couple years ago.
