Very cool!

And Moose, just let me know when it's done and you're ready to ship it and how much shipping is/was and I'll reimburse you for it.

I did some more work on it today...

First , I riveted on the rear shell stop to the New receiver.

Next the rivets inserted in the Left sideplate

Domed them by hand and all set on the left

Domed and set all the Right sideplate Rivets

Top plate and Latch

I had thought about building one myself, but after buying a .308 parts kit from a guy I know (all parts but the right side plate for $250) it just sat around. Now it's sitting at a local Army surplus shop on display until I decide to actually start it.

I did see a nice semiauto 1919a4 with the tripod, pindle, and T&E sitting at a local gunshop for $1600. It's from a manufactuer, although not Ohio Ord, with a nice parkerization. If it's still around after Christmas I'll probably pick it up.

That is a deal at 1600...but see who Made it as some of the Allied Armament builds had lots of problems and they are out of business now. Tripod, pintle and T/E Mechanisms are spendy...

Will yours have the pistol grip and trigger, or the butterfly triggers? I'm not sure if the 1919 even had butterfly triggers, now that I think about it.
The Gunny had a great show this week with the 1919 being prominent in it...awesome lil bullet sprayer!

I have heard that the "Ma Deuce" .50cal can be fired SA with butterfly triggers almost as fast as FA...but that is just what I've heard, not sure if it's reliable info.

Mine will have the pistol grip and I am thinking of getting a Crankfire Mechanism to add later. I cant see 350.00 for a spade Handle setup...
The Crank is 250.00 , But I haven't ruled out designing and building My own
since The Next 3 months are cold , dark winter at sub-zero temps !
It will eat ammo pretty fast as it is...LOL
