I will be documenting the build as I go along over the next weeks so you can watch me build it from start to finish. Thanks to the fine folks at Ohio Ordnance who supplied me the parts and Built the receiver.
Here is where I just test fit the sideplate and Barrel trunnion and shroud and checked for hole alignment...everything is Lining up perfectly.

You have been looking at Shotgun News! Those kit prices are pretty tempting. Next you'll get your manufacturing license and building FA.
Looks like a fun project.

I'll be watching this with interest. This is the kind of project I wish I could undertake, and can't.

If I had a Storefront , I might consider getting My 02 License...But I dont.
This should be fun enough and I may Buy or build one of the crank trigger Mechanisms that duplicates FA without the expense and paperwork...
And all of my Shotgun News have drool marks on the Ohio Ord. Page !

Moose, I really admire you! I could never begin to amass the knowledge and talent that it would take to complete a project like that. Like the rest of us, I'll really be interested in your documentation and pics of the project. For me it will be a great learning experience.

Well, if ya need a ammo/barrel carrier...let me know! They are a crew-served gun aint they? 2-man crew at least I'd presume.

Ohio Ordnance makes some awsome parts, have bought a few receivers from them and they are of the highest quallity, plan to buy another receiver soon. You will have the best once completed and will enjoy watching the step by step build.
