| H&R pardner 12ga. single TACTICOOL!!
I got me a 12 GA single from wally world for 128 out the door. i shot it a few times and once got a bruise from a brennekke 3" mag slug, i dont reccomend those rounds in these guns (too light) the barrel can handle the load but they are so light it kicks hard. it shoots buckshot fine though. and it really likes those military 00 buckshot ones goin around now. and they are cheap too. i got my tactical forend and stock combo today along with the flash hider, heatshield with ghost ring sights, and the shell holder all for 128.99 less shipping from www.combathunting.com the fit and assembly is number 1 you can put it all on in a half hour with basic tools. you can cut the barrel to 18 1/4 but i left mine at 20 to keep a little room for accuracy and with the 6 position stock it is very manuverable. i give it a 8 out of 10. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

dahibdaboy.....was just wondering what you plan to do with your old stock and forend...I have a couple NEF/H&R shotguns with damaged stocks if you are willing to part with them.

I wanted to do the same thing to a 12gauge till I started reading about the stocks breaking because of the heavy recoil. Then thought I would do one in 410, come to findout Dunham's sporting goods sells em for $96 out the door.

| Well,
I think the 12 gauge single shot is just about one of the great mainstays of American life both rural and urban. I've never known anyone to dress one like you did so congrats on some good ideas. |

Just finished mine yesterday, whaddya think? ![]() It's not a 1871, it's a Rem 870 clone. Picked it up at a scratch and dent sale for $150 stock, then did the ATI mods and cut the barrel. |

I put that stock on my 410 Tamer that has a 19" full choke barrel. It has been my truck gun for more than 10 years now. |

I made two of those, one with a .410 H&R. The other with a NEF single 12 auge. cut the Barrel to 19". sold them both. now they make factory ones for $99.00. I got $200 for the .410 and $175 for the 12.

I have one in 12ga that was my first gun. it's my dedicated turkey gun now. the best thing you can do for recoil is a good buttpad and add some weight to the stock. i did this by getting a piece of conduit and some lead wheel weights. melt the weights into the conduit and put it in the buttstock. it'll add about 1.5lbs to the gun and it sure does take the sting outta those 3" turkey loads!
