H&R Ultra Rifle

Evening:
Glad to be a member of this forum. I have been hunting and shooting since before the Dead Sea got sick! I really enjoy it and continue to do for another 70 years if my Lord keeps me here that long.
I have and H&R Ultra with three barrels. It began opening when I shot it. I sent it back to H&R repair. They really did some work on it. It now is so hard to open that it takes both thumbs or a hammer. Anyone else having this problem?

HI feller Shor is nice of you to Join up here so...WELCOME to GUN and GAME !!!
Wish I could hep you with your problem, maybe kicking back in the easy chair and working the action a while will cause it to wear in ? I'm sure you did a lot of that though.

Maybe someone here familar with this problem will come along and tell you what needs to be done to fix the gun.
But seriously the tightness may and WILL cause it to wear quickly so you might ought to send it back to Bubba and make him fix it right.

In the mean time join in and have a good time. Regards A.H
