Is it me or is the powder supply thinning?

I just had to call 4 places to find Hodgdon's powder. I thought stuff was starting to trickle in? Any one else seeing this where you are? Powder is the one thing I've been able to find pretty easily.

Red face

Still very spotty. Many powders I prefer are still MIA. Luckily I still have enough at the moment.

Still can't find H4895 anywhere. But Wideners had the RG4895, and some IMR4895 is popping up around here.

Other than that, powder shelves have been filling up in my area.

I got (2) 1lb cans of IMR4895 and (1) 1lb can of black powder [all three unopened + a partial can of one I can't remember for $12.00 back in July at an auction, plus 2,200 primers-- large and small rifle for $28, still patting my self on the back...had to wait 5/6 hours tho, lots of fun. Wally world here is totally wiped out---deer season is coming and then duck season {I need to find some more auctions}

The Fin and The Den seem to have a fair amount. I would call first if you're any distance from either one. The Fin will set stuff back for you, and I presume the guys up in Shelby will do the same. Woodbury's down in Chilicothe is not heavily into reloading stuff yet, but they had quite a few 1 pounders when I was there last week.

Heck, I haven't even opened up that 8 pounder of IMR4895 you got me yet. Still got maybe 4 pounds of that RG4895 I got from Wideners.

Just called my local dealer looking for some Varget, hasn't got it doesn't know when he "might" get it. Same story at Midway and Grafs. Damn those liberals anyway!

I was looking for my brothers friend. I have all I need on hand. I found some at the Country Attic in South Lebanon. He had all types of primers also.

I have been giving $16 to $18.80 a can but I just found it for $14 and some change. That's for Hodgdons Titegroup.

Not much Hodgden powder around here, but Alliant powder is always in stock. 24.00 lb.
