Pressure Testing

Hello,

A few years back, maybe more, I read an article in one of the gun mags (Shooting Times?) about a device that measures pressure from a round you are firing. The author took the two wires that were on the device and soldered them onto a Contender barrel near the action. Does anyone remember what this device is called and who makes it? Thanks.

its called a "strain guage".
