RCBS Customer Service So I call RCBS up. I tell 'em I bought a used Piggyback II. I tell 'em I dropped one of the knurled screws that holds the indexing rod to the shell plate. I DROPPED IT and couldn't find it. How much for a new one, I ask. They tell me no charge. I tell them I need a new bushing for the index rod - a wear item. How much, I ask. They tell me no charge. The also will ship me a new spring for the arm that 'senses' a cartridge for the powder measure. What an awesome company...

in the reloading world, several companies have great customer service. dillon, rcbs, and redding. in the rare instance you need support from one of these companies, you'll get little grief, only good service.

I had a similar situation with MidwayUSA.. I bought a set of 45acp dies from them.. However my decaping/resizing die was for some reason not the right size, even though it said 45acp on it. I called them up, and they overnighted a new die right away. They didn't even want me to sent the defective one back!! It's nice to see that level of customer service still is around..

A couple of years ago I loaned my RCBS press to a friend. When I got it back, the spent primer catching tray was missing. I called RCBS and told them this and they sent me a new tray. No charge. It's nice to know the words "Customer Service" are as important to them as they are to us. Nick

Happily, this is not new. 25 years ago, I owned an old set of .45 Colt dies. I was shooting hot loads, and the crimping die would not produce a solid crimp. I suspect the dies I had were designed for the older .454 diameter bullets. I wrote a letter to RCBS and explained the problem. They sent me a new set of dies, and didn't even charge me for shipping!
