RCBS case slick review

i bought some of this stuff and while it works great it is very hard to get off the cases.
it is not water soluble and soap doesnt do a thing.
i had to tumble my cases to get it off.
i am not using it anymore.
i am going back to water based case lube.

Use two tumblers,one to get it on,one to get it off,watch the light bill tho. sam.

No better way? Any issues with powder being degraded? How long would you tumble the cartridges before they're clean enough to shoot? I've been hand-wiping them and it's getting old.

UPDATE;
i got some CASE LUBE 2 today it is a lot easier to deal with.
no stink and it comes off with a damp rag.

Case slick is SUPPOSED to wipe off with a dry Cloth...

I use regular lube Myself, no smell, no mess, and costs a lot less!

hornady 1 shot, no muss- no fuss. easy to use.

I use Imperial Sizing Die Wax, it's great stuff but isn't as easy to use as the spray stuff. On the other hand, this 2 oz. tin has lasted for over two yrs. and thousands of rds.

I find a quick wipe with a relatively clean rag does the trick. STP is very extreme pressure and reduces the effort of resizing. Then on the other hand I never used a commercial lube to compare to it.

I`m interested in the Hornady one shot stuff. But I generally don`t full length resize, and if`n I does, I use the Lee shizzle that came in my kit all that time ago.

I wonder how Lanolin spray would go?

i use stp too lasts forever takes alot of stuff off the brass to like the black spots

i got the RCBS lube kit with all the other crap that came with my press.
but the tube o lube was empty.
it all leaked out over the past 20 years or so

JR...Lanolin is an old Reloaders secret...It works just fine as case lube , and wipes off pretty easy.

Thats what i use billy,had no problems,just dont over lube the shoulders or necks mate.Used to use Lee paste but didnt like it.Have also got a spray pack of hornady lube,its good.

I credit the use of it at least in our house to my father who owned a GM garage. STP was readily available and cheap compared to he specialty lubes. We also full length resized every load - probably due to the hot .264 WM loads we used. Even after a full lengh resize the cartridges were not interchangeable between the two rifles (Browning and Remington). STP made the full length resize relatively easy.
STP is also used in large steam turbines when you want to turn them while partly disassembled. Rotors weighing tons can be spun by hand once you get STP into the journal bearings.

That said, I would never use the stuff in my car!
