10mm

Anyone developed a real "zippy" load for the 10mm?

If and when I start handloading and if and when I buy a 10mm, I'll likely stay well within specs in the manuals and likely be using a Tanfolio/EAA Witness with full-metal frame (I don't like the look of the plastic frames, even though I love my GLOCK).

Just go to osCommerce to get the hot stuff - not worth blowing up your gun or hand trying to max it out.

I regret getting rid of my Glock 20. I plan on rectifying that mistake one day.

I'd leave any cartridge as the SAAMI specs say they should be left at. No need to go blowing up the the gun or worse, yourself!

If you do decide to go hotter than recommend loads. I would recommend going with a stiffer spring to handle the recoil so the frame doesn't absorb the abuse and wear out before it's time. If it is in a revolver you might be ok. I would just be very careful and start loading up in half grain incroments and watch for pressure signs. if they get to hot you might have problems with extraction and could damage the extractor. I think it would be wise to stay within SAAMI parameters.

If you are looking for a fast round to shoot out of your 10mm maybe you should look into the 9X25 dillon. It's a 10mm case necked down to take a 9mm bullet and it's a screamer. Similar to the .357 sig with the 40 case necked down to 9mm and the 400 corbon being .45acp necked down to .40cal. All you would need is a barrel and a set of dies and you would be set.

I'm not looking to blow myself up! Just wondered if someone had played with this round and found an accurate load that uses it's potential.
