Nice set-up; i got the MEC JR 600 .A great press. The price of lead-shot is outrageous! I paid a dollar per LB at a JUNYARD, which was so full of residue powder that I had to screen and wash all the shot. I also cast mostly ALL my bullets. Wheel weights are getting hard to come by, they won't let them go for contaminent liability reasons(calif) sucks when it come to lawyers. When they place governmental restrictions on the use of lead, there goes the second ammendment. Control the ammo and you control the firearms, it's that simple. Rod

I want to order a mold from for alyman 525 sabot slug and cast my own slugs. I have three differant guys who own tire and auto shops where I can get wheel weights for free. Thankfully that has become a problem here yet. But sooner or later I can feel your pain.

Pick up all the wheel weights you can while they are still available whether you use them or not. It is just a matter of time before they ban the use of lead in wheel weights.
