loads for bigboy 45 l.c.?

i am not interested in b.p. for this rifle but i am wondering about the strength of this firearm.
can i put 45 l.c. rounds through it that i feed my raging bull 454 casull?

i doubt if i can.

As long as they dont excede SAAMI pressure for .45 colt. The loads for Ruger TC and such are not SAAMI specs. The highest SAAMI cup spec is 14000lbs,the Rugers and such exceed 30000lbs cup. There is no mfg,d ammo in that range so since you have to reload,I emagine it would void your warrantee if there is one. sam.

That's what almost all manufactures say in their manuals. I was told by a dealer that the Winchester 94 could handle anything I could put in it. I don't know if I believe him or not.
My suggestion would be to load to the lower pressure and work your way up if you want. Or just shoot the lower pressure rounds. Either way I am sure you will enjoy your new toy.

billy they make that same gun in 44 mag ?
and i know that they make the 94 in 30-30.
just don't go overboard
i load my 92 in 44 up near max. and use nearly the exact loads in my 45 colt
cause i dont think they take any strength out of one or put any more in the other. they both cost and shoot exactly the same
course thats why i shoot the 92.

oh and if you reload you have already voided your warranty

I'll SWAG that since the same gun is chambered in .44 Rem Mag the Ruger level loads should be safe.

Do NOT run ANY 454 Casull level loads in the Henry!

A model 94 action "WOULD NOT" stand .454 Casull loads.A .30-30 max load reaches 37K lbs CUP.A max load in a .454 Casull reaches 53K lbs CUP. sam.
