| Long Grain Rice as Media Sub. Update Cleaned about 300 empty cases last night using long grain white rice. It surprised me that the rice held up really good and didn't break down like I thought it would. It also produced very little dust. The case came out pretty damn shiney but it didn't remove quite all the tarnish offen the cases, but they went thru the die really well. Just have to be careful to get all the rice out of the inside of the cases. A couple of the cases were pretty packed hard with rice and had to pick it out. But other than that it worked good. Still going to check out hamster litter and ground walnut from Petco. Thats for the advice. Still looking for a sub. for brass cleaner to add to the media other than reloading supplies warehouses |

| Good idea, I'd try Long grain brown rice. Its tougher and more gritty than white. Atleast thats how it seems when eating it... Might cost a little more as well. ![]() Good luck, -Skat |
