| Senior Member | Lyman reloading Manual, 47th / 48th what's the difference?
If someone could let me know i'd appreciate it. I am told it's the best manual to get. But which one, is there really a major difference between the two editions?

Not much...The latest one may have some new Cartridge Data in it the earlier one doesnt....I have all the manuals for the different bullets I load. Sierra for Sierra Bullets, Hornady for Hornady Bullets, Nosler for Nosler Bullets,etc....There is No "One Manual fits All" in my opinion. Rich

Usually the later manuals will have everything the earlier ones do with the addition to any new rounds which have came out. The only reason I would get the early one, would be if it had an obsolete round listed and I wanted to load for it.
