If the .17 Rem die is a full-length resizer, the Fireball case may not go in far enough to size the entire neck. I'd also check body dimensions before using a die that was designed for a different cartridge. Why don't you ask Lee? They will probably be happy to tell you. |

No its not a full length resizer, I have found full length and seating dies here in aus, just not a neck sizer, thats why i wanted to know about the 17 rem COLLET die to run cases through. Will email lee. |

dont know mate, my friend has just ordered one as he did want a 17hmr but wanted to shoot out to 200m, he has a 22-250 but wanted a 17 cal. The fireball is perfect. I imagine the fireball will be down right devastating on rabbits, but he plans for it to be a fox/crow gun out a bit longer than the 17hmr can realistically be. We just cant find a neck sizing die for him as ammo here is over $50AUD a box for remington premier accutips... |

You can use the full length resize die by only resizing the neck 1/2 to 3/4 of its length.Lube the neck and after resizing, make sure it chambers ok. sam.
