If you give me the group sizes I will run them through Excel and tell you what I think is the better, and if there is any difference between the two. Just notices that the number of shots per group seems to vary. I may not be able to give you a statistically valid answer.

If I could shoot groups that good, I'd be happy. But the wind keeps blowing the target around, or something like that. Could be due to the earth's rotation, I don't know. But I swear that while the bullet is in flight, something moves my target a little bit. Every time.

AH's targets look like he has hit 'em with a load of double aught buck.

It looks like your rifle loves those 180gr bullets.I usually got along with 168gr better.Great shooting. sam.

thanks sam
it seems to like 41.7 of varget with the 180's
and 40.0 with the 165's

i wish there was a place where i could get 10 bullets each in many different weights.

hey !
you are gonna make A.H. mad!
dont get him p.o.'d at both of us.
he's already mad at me............

after measuring smudge to smudge and subtracting 0.305 which is the diameter of an average single shot hole.
best 165 gr. group-0.665
best 180 gr. group-0.537

165gr. average 0.993
180gr. average 0.6805

I'd load in .3 grain increments between 41.7 & 39.9 and see where that takes you. It might just tighten up to be one hole!

Top target, top right with #40 by it. As for the bottom target, middle group with #41.7 by it.

billy I'm sorry but I was messing with you when I posted you needed to keep trying.
The groups marked 41.7 and 39.9 are outstanding to say the least...A.H
