Anschutz*|*141M*|*e-GunParts.com Prior to Savage buying Lakefield Arms to make their own rimfires, I understand they imported Anschutz guns or at least the actions. Weatherby are now doing the same, but possibly not the same model. Anschutz is an excellent manufacturer, and some would say the best in the world for .22 rimfire target guns. Their competition .22 guns are in the $3,000+ range, and are used in the Olympics. J.G. ANSCHTZ GmbH & Co. KG You likely can get parts from Anschutz dealers, but bring lots of $$'s! You may also want to post here for help: Anschutz - RimfireCentral.com Forums Here is a question similar to yours: but if you do a search on 141M at the site you will find lots without registering and asking. There is more to a gun than the name though. A friend just got a Weatherby Mark XXII. The barreled action however comes from Anschutz, and the stock I believe is made in the US by S&K Gunstocks. :: Weatherby : Mark XXIIŪ :: ![]() I think this one may have wood more to the liking for Lefty. It certainly looks good in real life. While he has not had a chance to do a lot of target shooting under good conditions, it is not clear that he is going to beat my Savage Mark II-BTVS for accuracy though. Ron |
