| Senior Member | A Dillon is a bit much if he only shoots a couple hundred rounds a week. You don't need a progressive press for that amount. |

| Senior Member | I was kind of thinking a single stage with a turret, does that sound right for my needs? And thank you everybody for the reading suggestions, I'll pick some of those books up tonight. |

| Senior Member | Dillon used to make a video on reloading call'm and see if they still do. You're going to get frustrated with a single stage press, if you're loading just a few rounds they're ok but My Soul they are slow for much reloading. BTW, you can reload rifle ammo on a Dillon. (The .45 ACP, .30-06, .308 and .243 all use the same shell holder as an example). You can get the Dillon with changeable heads, where the dies go, and swap out from round to round. You let me know if I'm wrong but I'll bet once you start reloading your amount of shooting will go up by at least 50%.

| Senior Member | Ok folks, I just bought the Dillon 550B today. Got it with the 22.250 .308 .30-06 conversion stuff. Got a quick change head as well and I'm sure more to follow. I'm jazzed! |

| Senior Member | Look on youtube they have all kinds of handloading related videos. I was surprised. They even have several about setting up various features of your press.
