OK, granted. What makes you think they're not properly lubed from the manufacturer?

As a security blanket, you can toss them in a plastic butter dish with some LEE Liquid Alox. That will give them more coating.

Thats the way I do it!Alox!Prevents a lot of leading.Try it with and without, you will really notice the difference. But alox stinks.I also recomend mixing them in a plastic dish and then spreading them on a sheet of plastic on a cookie sheet. That alex really stinks.Do it outside,or in a garage. sam.

You can spend time relubing or spend time cleaning the bore.

Do they have a lube groove on them or are they knurled like hornadys lead bullets. I like Lee liquid alox to lube bullets. Alot of people talk crap about it but I have never had any issues with it other than it gets your fingers kinda messy when spreading the bullets out after lubing them.

An oldtime hand gun shooter (and I'm not?) once told me,"If you use enough wax (lube) you won't have much leading problem.I have tried it and light or factory lubed bullets leadded way worse than when I used alox. The problem is you have to keep cleaning your seating die and the revolver gets a little gunky when hot. sam.

i have shot both soft and hard lubes, home made and store bought.
pan lubed, wiped in by hand. dipped and sized. sized and lubed.
and have had good luck with both types. the lubes you are talking about do work up
to a point.
if you wanna try something different [just cause]
you can take a can of johnsons paste wax and wipe or tumble lube with it.
and shoot outta your pistols. jpw is carnuba wax and carriers.
