Handloader Magazine

I just picked up the AUG 2008 issue of Handloader Magazine and there is an excellent article on Vintage WW II Military Loads. Some really great info there.

Never heard of it, and I was looking at gun mags in the rack at the store today.

You can buy it online in .pdf format. Just google handloader magazine and hit the first url, then click on the banner for the mag.

The local wal-mart usually has them in stok. Thats where I get mine. Don't know why I don't just subscribe to it. Bob

I use to subscribe, but like another firearm/ shooting magazine which shall remain nameless, they just didn't have enough information on what I am interested in. So I let my subscription expire after two years.

The only subscription I have is to Shotgun News. I peruse the mag stands and look for something I want to read.

I have always enjoyed Handloader. The beauty of having the magazine isn't the interest in it's articles at the moment. It is having it if such an interest arises. How many times have you gone back and flipped through a magazine and found something you could use.
On another note: If you put a decade of Handloader Issues in a storage shed check on them every few weeks. My roof leaked mine are kaput. 66-78 gone.

Ouch, jk !! I cut out articles, recipes, etc that I want to keep and have them in a 3-drawer filing cabinet. They are filed according to caliber, optics or the like.

We call it a shed. One room is 50x30' and my part is 12x30'. I guess the tornadoes must have loosened the shingles. Well time for a new roof and floor. anybody want to buy some gun parts made of iron-oxide? I guess I could sell them to the anti-gunners as art. lol Gotta cry now....
