| 7.62x39 supplies
Who has the best pricing on brass and bullets for this round? I just got a kit and have all the stuff for 308, 9mm, 38 spcl and I have even found the rare 9.18mm which is on its way. But I can't seem to find a good deal on FMJ bullets for the 7.62x39. I am not so interested in the brass at this point as I have enough brass to last me until the cows come home. Any help would be fantastic.

It all depends on whether you can use .308 bullets. or need .311-.312" ones. Most 7.62X39 rifles do poorly with 0.308" bullets though.

What rifle are you shooting? Depending on the rifle it's not uncommon for the .308 to out shoot the larger .310-.311 bullets. Not so much cuz of the size, but cuz the .310-.311 bullets are usually cheap POS. Here are a few links for bullets, both cheap and not so cheap. How come my cheap POS .311" bullets cost more than .308" bullets then? And my SKS hates 0.308" bullets.

If it's an SKS, it's 7.62X39.

That's not a question. Its a statement. I think he was responding to being told "It all depends on whether you can use .308 bullets. or need .311-.312" ones. Most 7.62X39 rifles do poorly with 0.308" bullets though". I cant read his mind, but it looked like he was telling us what rifle he was using so we would know what dia. bullets he needed. I'm sure he will be able to tell us when he logs back on.
