What brass is the best to form 7.65 Argentine Mauser from?

my old speer manual 1970's shows that 7.65 belgian mauser,rifle m-91 argentine rifle the cases was reform from 30-06 brass.the bullet is a .311-.313 diameter,make sure you check case length after reforming,hopes this helps

I thought from the specs in my loading manual that 30-06 was the way to go but I just wanted to get some other thoughts on the matter.
