| Does your pistol rattle a lot?
I bought a C9 from someone I knew a little bit. He said he took it apart to clean it. If I shake it forward and backwards it sounds like something is loose inside it. Does anyone with a C9 have the same loose sound? Thanks

I have the jcp-40 and I can actually get two rattles out of mine, both are normal. One is that if the striker is not locked back ready to fire it will rattle. The second is a small bar in the grip that acts as a trigger weight, that one doesn't go away. wolfman: they just need to be broken in (300-400 rounds) after that they work quite nicely.

On the C9 it has a pendelum on the inside of the grip that is a safety so if you drop the gun it wont fire.(So the intructions say)

It rattles both ways but it shoots good and doesn't jam at all.

| The rattle you hear is the drop safety. It is normal on all HP pistols.
