| My new Hi-Point 995TS
My new 995TS that I just got. I have not been to the range with it yet. But it feels good and looks good. 9mm 10 round mag. Red Dot scope and I had 2 scope rings so I mounted a led light and a laser that I had. Bob T

I may change mine around. I will see how it works out. I will be glad when I can get to the range and get to try it out. Bob T

Is it actually the recoil or is it twisting? Bob T

Looks good, I did mine a little different, I co-witnessed my factory sight with the red dot, I also modified the factory swivels by grinding off the sling loops and added Vulcan swivels so I could use my tactical sling. I also coated the receiver cover with ceramic engine paint, to get rid of the funky looking factory finish........having problems getting pics up on this site or I would share it |

I wanted to leave my factory sights on, but the rail lock was in the way just enough that I could not get the red dot on. . Also what color did you use on the receiver? Bob T

| Senior Member | i too want to see some pictures of the paintjob. as for as the reddot i always use my front sight to line it up and so far the guns i have put them on they all seem to be dead on by doing it that way.

I had a Tru Glo 30mm, from an earlier project that fit without any problem. If I could figure out how to send pics, I'm having a problem on this site, I would post it...........I coated the cover with semi gloss Dupli-color semi gloss ceramic engine paint. I also have a 995 that I used VHT Hi-Temp wrinkle finish paint on the cover. So far both have been very durable, but then again I am very anile when it comes to taking care of my firearms.

If you're a newcomer to the world of Hi-Point, welcome aboard... ...and, if this is a follow-on Hi-Point purchase, good job! Hope to read about how it shoots for you on the range...

| ![]() My 995 TS ![]() 995 ok figured out the pic thing, duh, and I yell at the "kids" at work for being stupid...........lol The 995 has a 4x32 scope and a green laser which works out to 100 yds in the daylight. The TS has a red dot sight that is co witnessed with the factory sights and also is dead on. I've run a few hundred rounds through the 995 and it is an accurate little carbine. The TS has only had about 50 rds. but it is just as accurate as it's little brother, you gotta love these for they are the most fun and bang for the buck........... They both look great. It looks like your red dot sits a little higher than mine. Mine was hitting the rail lock in the front. I like receiver also. Bob T

In shooting the TS. Have you had any problems with the stock slaping or pinching you any?

Mine did pinch some. After shooting a while it stopped. I almost think it is the separation between the cheek rest and the stock. Bob T

No problems so far getting slapped, but with the red dot, I don't really need a "hard" cheek weld...........
