| How accruate is your C9?
I thought mine used to be accurate, but have not shot it in a while. I really enjoy the new .45, but have lots of 9mm reloads so I got out the C9 and it was all over the board!! Close up it was OK, but from 15yds, there was no group, unlike the .45. Is it me? Thanks. Dave |

Any hand gun is designed to be accurate out to 15-20 meters. In reality the shorter the barrel (c9 has what a 4" barrel?) the less accurate it is. Most hand guns will stay in the "Black" at 5 to 10 FEET. Call it 3 yards. Thats why when you see the "cops" shows, the rounds go off like crazy but few if any are lethal hits. Point in case. Ft. Hood. A killer shoots an estimated 100 rounds and scores 51 (est) wounded/kia in a crowded room with over 300 persons in it. Once outside he takes 4 rounds from a LEO and is off life support already! He used a FN5 and the LEO probably used a smith or Glock. The movies make people think that a pistol shoots like a rifle and rifles shoot like lasers. By the way Lets all say a prayer for all those involved in that senseles shooting and their families. God bless our military and their families. Our thoughts are with you!

Mine would shoot about a baseball group at 7 yards...not very accurate past that. I could hit a 12 pack soda box every shot with my .45 at 70-80 yards...I miss that ol' ugly .45! Was happy to trade off the 9mm though.
