High Standard Model B

Okies, I'm in the process of slowly hand-polishing my Model B, and I went to take the barrel off for better cleaning & removed the barrel pin...
it ain't coming out by hand, that's for sure...and I ain't no wimp.

Should I place the barrel in a padded vise and pull real hard on the action?

Or is there another trick I need to know?

Looks like its padded vise...according to the folks at RFC

Sometimes requires a few love taps with a brass or nylon punch...
