REDUCING HOLSTER FRICTION?

i have a nice old holster that my new ruger blackhawk wants to ride in.
there is a little bit of drag putting it in and taking it out.
how about some dry silicone spray?
it is suede lined.
the gun fits fine in there .
i just want an easy draw.

I WRAPPED A PAPER TOWEL AROUND IT AND PUT IT IN A PLASTIC BAG.
THEN PLACED THE GUN IN THE HOLSTER FOR TWO DAYS.
NOW IT IS JUST RIGHT!

Excellent question that I can't answear other than check out a Cowboy action forum to see what others do to prevent a wear spot on the finish of a new pistol.
Good Luck billy.

No that's not for sticking a gun in a holster it's for sticking a gun somewhere else. 8 (
