Erick Plunkett ended up in jail after what he said was a practical joke. Authorities say Plunkett went into a convenience store late the other night wearing a bandanna over his face.

The worried store clerk figured it was a robbery and called 911. Officers say Plunkett told them he thought it would be funny.

But the law got the last laugh. Plunkett was jailed on a disorderly conduct charge. He's been freed after posting $500 bail.
