In the middle of hot wild sex, the couple heard the front door open. "That's my husband!" the woman said. They scrambled out of bed and the man grabbed his clothes and hid in the closet. He listened as the woman's husband came upstairs and entered the bedroom, he could hear them talking, he was almost holding his breath, he was so scared. then he heard a child say: "It sure is dark in here."
He whispered: "Be quiet!"
"I don't know if I can be quiet," the child said, "it's dark in here, I don't like the dark."
"Can you be quiet for twenty dollars?" He asked.
"I can be real quiet for twenty dollars!" The boy told him.
The man pulled twenty dollars out of his pants and gave it to the boy. They stood it the dark closet for several minutes until the woman and her husband left the bedroom. The man slipped out of the closet, put his pants on, climbed out the window onto the roof of the porch, down the tree into the back yard, over the fence and ran.
The boy took his twenty dollars and went to the store, where he bought five dollars worth of candy. He returned home, sat it front of the TV, and was eating candy when his mother walked in and saw him.
"Where did you get that candy?" She demanded.
"I went to the store and bought it." the boy told her.
"Bought it! With what?" She said. "You don't have any money!"
"I got money!" He said, pulling fifteen dollars out of his pocket.
"I don't know what you did," she said, "but you know it's wrong! I want you to go to confession! Right now!" She told him, grabbing the bag of candy.
The boy walked down the street to the church, he walked in and looked around, he saw the confessional and went in, closed the door and sat down.
"Sure is dark in here." he said.
From behind the screen came a voice: "Don't start that again!"

"Life is too important to be taken seriously."
