| A new element has been discovered
Recent hurricanes and climatic issues are proof of the existence of a new chemical element. Research has led to the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science. The new element, Governmentium (Gv), has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons & 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert; however, it can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A minute amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second to be delayed any time from four days to fourteen years. Governmentium has a normal half-life of two to six years. It does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which some of the assistant neutrons & deputy neutrons exchange places. In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes. This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as critical morass. When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium, an element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium, since it has only half as many peons but twice as many morons. |

| Ha-Ha and another observation
It also defies physics as, at the heaviest level of the periodic table of the elements the massive elements are short lived. As you noted, this thing lives on and on and on and to my surprise, something that should be lost in half life - like the ex-presidentium sub-particle, can come back to contribute to the growth. Hello to windwalker - it does not evolve into politicians. Against the basic concepts of evolutionary theory, it devolves into politicians. Last edited by nathangdad; 01-21-2008 at 11:24 PM. Fascinating stuff, gentlemen. I knew I should've stayed in college...

Sounds like at some point it evolves into politicians.

Doggone it, I think my C&R license application must have gotten contaminated with Governmentium somehow. I put it in around Thanksgiving, didn't hear back from BATFE until after New Year's, and they want to meet with me to explain how it works instead of simply mailing me the license and the books and letting me figure it out for myself! More than 2 months now and I STILL don't have the freakin' license! All the good stuff's getting away online! Damn Governmentium. |

Cyrano, that is now SOP with ATF. They came to my house earlier this month. But my FBI file must have been a good thing, because I received my dealer's license in record time! And T2K, I'm glad I left college early, as that stuff just gives me a headache, and makes CGO mad!LMAO
