Variation on the Light Bulb Joke

I'm sure everyone remembers the old Light Bulb Joke craze. You know: "How many [fill in the blank]s does it take to change a light bulb?" with the blank usually being an ethnicity and the punch line reflecting said ethnicity.

During the height of the Light Bulb Joke craze, Bjo Trimble, the woman who organized the "Save Star Trek" letter campaign in 1968 when the network was threatening to cancel the show and flooded NBC with one million pieces of mail, was at a science fiction convention. The SF fans were telling ethnic Light Bulb Jokes, but changing the ethnicity to Klingon without changing the punch line. She finally burst out, "Dear God! These aren't Klingon light bulb jokes! They're just renamed ethnic jokes! Can't somebody come up with a real Klingon light bulb joke?"

About five minutes later, a teenager who had heard her outburst came up to her and said, "Bjo, I have a real Klingon Light Bulb joke for you."

"This better be good, kid," she warned. Bjo does not suffer fools gladly.

"Okay. How many Klingons does it take to change a light bulb?"

"I don't know, kid. How many Klingons does it take to change a light bulb?"

"Two. One to change the light bulb, and another to stab him in the back and take the credit for it!"

Bjo's jaw dropped. The kid grinned and melted back into the crowd.

Although I have seen some of the shows, it appears that some of my Si-Fi education is sadly lacking.

Star Trek....eh I'm too young to have been impressed in the least by the original. I've seen some of the later ones and they were ok when I was young, but they don't impress me now. However, I haven't seen the movies...maybe they're better. However, I can still appreciate the humor in this one! That's a good one!

The Originals were awesome!
That one made me laugh and gave you +2 nerd points for putting it in print...
