| Political correct red necks
This isnt really a joke.I heard someplace on tv that rednecks are upgrading their name and wish to be called 'Opposition to Whitenecks'. I would think this is an association,as I dont see how rednecks could lay claim to 'organization'. sam.

I'v only lived in OK for 2 years so I truly don't think I want to get a organization started. But when I go back to CA to see family and friends they say I talk diffrent. So I asked them what they meant by this and they tell me I have a red neck accent.SOOOOO I'm fine , just the way I am.But seabeescotty accent is like a man who has been here all his life.

I grew up in Bklyn NY, but I have lived in SC for the last 12 years. Everyone here is SC laughs at my Bkyln accent. Yet, when I visit NY everyone tells me I sound like a redneck?? So, I guess I must be a yankee redneck.~JJ~

I had a buddy in the Airforce who was born in Tennessee, but his mother was from merry Olde England. His accent was what I called "Southern English"! Unique for sure.
