The Man and the Ostrich

A man and an ostrich walk into a retaurant and sit down. The waitress comes to take their order.

"I'll have the hamburger, the french fries, a salad, and a chocolate frappe," says the man.

"I'll have the same," says the ostrich.

The waitress serves them. After they've eaten, she brings the bill.

"That'll be $9.40," she says. The man reaches into his pocket, hands her the exact amount, and walks out with the ostrich.

The next day, the man and the ostrich walk in and take the same seats as the day before. The waitress comes over.

"I'll have the steak dinner, and a beer," he says.

"I'll have the same," says the ostrich.

The waitress serves them; they eat; and she brings them the bill.

"That will be $34.58,' she says. The man reaches into his pocket, ands her $34.58, and he and the ostrich walk out.

This goes on for a week. Finally, one evening as she is about to hand the man the bill, she asks, "Tell me something. How is it that when I hand you your bill, you reach into your pocket and always come out with the exact amount, no matter what it is?"

"Well," says the man, "a couple of years ago I was cleaning out the attic of an old house and I came across this old Arabian lamp. Just for laughs, I gave it a rub, and to my surprise a genie appeared. He granted me two wishes."

"What did you wish for?"

"My first wish was that, whenever I went to buy something, all I'd have to do was reach into my pocket and the exact amount of money needed to buy it would be there."

"That's briliant!" says the waitress. "Most people would just wish for a million dollars and then squander it in a couple of weeks. You're set for life! But what was your second wish?"

"I wished for a chick with a big ass and long legs, who'd always be with me and who'd agree with everything I say."
