|  British Red Coats.
Many years ago, during a war between England and France, a British General was captured. A French Officer asked him why the British Officers wore bright red coats. The British General replied that in battle, if a British Officer gets shot the enlisted men would not see the blood and become afraid and run away. So with that logic, after that day, all French Officers were required to wear Brown pants.
