A WOMAN is suing Abbey National, claiming she cannot have a sex life since they repossessed her house.

Sonia Miles also says she has had to move into "dirty, nasty accommodation" with nowhere to keep her knickers.

Ms Miles took out a £37,000 mortgage on a semi in Romford, Essex, in 1987.

But she says in a High Court writ that the bank - motto "Because life is complicated enough" - eventually repossessed it and sold it at auction for less than it was worth.

She is seeking damages to make up the price difference.

Ms Miles complains in the writ that the bank is responsible for her enforced move to Hornchurch, where she has no drawers to store her underwear and nowhere she to have an intimate relationship with a man.

No date has been fixed for the hearing.
