Jess (The dog)

The boy's and I got up the hill yesterday with the dog's and shotgun's, what a day! I think Jess had her best day ever on the rabbit's.
In one patch between her and the lab of my mates they put up 20 odd rabbit's, this patch would only be 120' by 50' close and running flat out, it was great. At one stage one dog was locked up on a rabbit and the other was chasing one, well the one being chased came around a bush and saw the other dog so jumped over it! It cleared it by well over a foot. I had to wait before shooting because of the dog's in the way, I shot it at full speed about ten feet away but wish I had a video instead.
At another spot Jess was indicating a rabbit in a tiny clump of grass, I told her she was full of sh*t. Wrong, another one burst out at eight feet and going !!!! for leather.
It's the first time we've been shotgunning with the dog's and run out of ammo. There really is nothing like shotgunning over dog's when there having a good day. :right:

Sounds like you got some good dogs there, just bring more ammo next time
