ACD ? Australian cattle dog?.

Both the Kelpie and the heeler red and blue are run on all forms of stock in Aussie, also plenty getting around there with Dingo in them.

That be them. Here is my main fella. The curs can be good stock dogs as well and you never really know if they are going to be hunting dogs or stock dogs. Hunter curs tend to tear the ears or tail off yearlin cattle but my curs are all hunters and heelers are for stock, altho I had a super Heeler that was a serious coon dog and would climb the tree right after them and get on the fight with them. He would go out on his own and hunt them. He also was hard on cats, Had to be a bad assed cat to live around the ranch.

Kelpies are mostly used on sheep and goats, the blue heeler is used for cattle. Not much differnce in brain power, depends on the dog, some are smart some are dumb as dog shit.Havent seen a heeler that doesnt like to bite.I have a few scars from heelers.

We also have the border collie, they are probably the smartest of the lot.

Most of my dogs are usually mongrels.I find they are the toughest, most hardy dogs. And some of the smartest dogs ive owned have been mongrels.

My current dog Buhda, she is a bully/staffy cross

This is an old dog,the Pig,she was as tough as any,not dumb, but very stuborn.

This is my girl Minni, she was a bully/bluey/kelpie/mastif.The smartest dog i have owned, she knew more english/hand signals than most people in australia. She lived to 13 years.

I have eight stray/abused cats. They took a vote and said "NO" to the idea of a dog...

Sparky on point. Notice excellent body form, tail raised, paw lifted, nose pointing towards prey, frozen in position to not spook prey.
