my best dog was a red heeler male............he did everything from working cattle to bayin hogs to goin head to head with any coyote that he could catch and could run a blood trail on deer or yotes..................he saved my bacon on more than one instance

He died this past june, but i raised many pups outa him and sent one clear to idaho one time.......i now have a female red heeler that is one of his pups.............shes about 5 months old shes gritty as hell and will tackle anything that walks or crawls for that matter

Here is some pics of Smokey! He is now 1 year and 5 months old, and weighs about 95 pounds now! The first 2 were taken in June of this year at the p-dog shoot and the third was taken in Sept while dove hunting and the last was taken about a week ago! He is also a great watch dog and house dog as you can tell by the last pic and he looks like he dont like his pic taken when he is in the house! LOL

I've owned most cattle breeds and love them. Our latest "mutt" is Australian Shephard/Border Collie/Blue Heeler. She's the smartest dog I've ever owned. We also have 2 Border Collie/Black Lab mixes that are polar opposites of each other, one is birdie and one is a herder.

We also just stumbled onto a 3 year old Chocolate Lab/Chesapeake Bay Retriever. He's a big boy at 97 pounds. Has over 900 retrieves and is the best hunting buddie I could have found. And the best thing about him, we got him from the Dog Pound for $50. I guess the good Lord was looking over my shoulder on that one.

I have a pet Grey squirrel I raised from a baby, had her for 3 years now. I'm trying to teach her how to retrieve birds but I'm not having alot of luck. I have a picture of her in my gallery.

A Corgi and a Brittany Spaniel. Balance of brains (the Corgi) and sheer exuberance (the Brittany :-)
