My hounds like to hunt for snacks.

Sure, they are breed to hunt but my girls also like to hunt for some snacks or a lost chip. They would like to chase after the rabbits that we see but I don't think they'd come back! Haha. Lula is the 4yr female with the white back and Sadie is a 3yr female with the solid colors.

You have Twinkie Hounds!

My two labs are sometimes caught red-handed (-pawed?) in the act of counter-cruising. The puppy seems fascinated with the trashcan, and she tears hell out of her pillow once or twice a week at 5am, just before coming to the back door and whining for her breakfast. You'd think the pillow was full of roast turkey and gravy or something. The remaining days of the week, she pulls her pillow out of her house and around to the patio. I assume she wants us to know it's shredded and she wants a new one.

Took her to a private pheasant/chukar ranch yesterday, and she did well. Still has a lot to learn, but she's past first grade so far. I reminded myself why I prefer to hunt wild birds, but it was good for the dogs.

Are those both Bassets? I can't tell for sure, but they look like it. Both look to be long and low, with the short legs. I have two female Beagles, and wouldn't trade 'em for anything. But you dang sure can't let 'em run loose, with all the rabbits around our 'hood I'd never see 'em again.

I bet your dog has a dream where she's eating a huge plate full of turkey, make sure she don't eat anything spicy before bed, might help her sleep. Haha.

Yes, they are both Bassets, pure breed and pure love. They'll play when I want to and nap when I need to. When we take the dogs to my womans parent's land, we let them run around without a leash. They've chased a deer once, came back about 15 minutes later. It was funny and a tad scary. If that deer would've turned around, it might've not think it funny it was being chased by some lowriders. Haha

Today, at 5:10am, Zoey (my chocolate), not only pulled her pillow out of her house, but pulled it INTO our other dog's house. All the thumping around that early wakes the dead, I'm sure.

What in the world prompts a 10-month-old puppy to do that? I thought our last chocolate was a nutball. This one definitely takes the cake.
