| Member | Happy Holiday(s) Shooters,Well here it is.It is gonna be not long from now that I will be going out for the first time wild pig hunting.I'm only 47,just a kid.Now most of my weapons are of military rank, i.e. M1 Garand @ 30.06,M1A/M14 Springfield .308,SKS.Of course they are semi-auto.I only have 2 bolt actions,Savage 10fp .308 and an 8mm Mauser(no scope, very accuate at 100yrds).Also is the Benelli Nova 12ga. Is using a rifled slug good to use?The only one with a scope is the Savage. What would you guys suggest I use, and what type and weight of ammo to use as well? I just can't afford to go out and buy something new/used tomorrow.Thanks....

| Member | Hey "Old Navy," I have not headed out yet.As I may have mentioned,I have never hunted bore, but would sure like to do it. It seems like not all my friends are hunters and I sure don't want to do it alone. So,hopefully this year sometime I'll have that oppertunity.I assume you are going to "Hunter-Leggitt?" Semper Fi
