| Mr. Fixit ![]() | Despite the Wal-Mart hassles, they used to carry a Savage bolt-action .22 with either a 5 or 10 rd. clip for around $100. If I can find it, I'll post a link. You might also want to look at Academy Sporting Goods as they also have pretty good prices.

| Senior Member | Can't really go wrong with a 10/22. I have that and a mossberg .22 - I'm thinking of getting rid of the mossberg. It is nice, but my .22 is more accurate. The only other .22 that I woul buy would be this one: CZ 452 FS Singles shot .22's are a great way to get into the rimfires, but the way I see it, if you are going to spend the money, get something that is going to be loads of fun and will allow you to practice a lot. FINALLY! Someone that realizes that the ,22 is a real gun! If you do your part, the .22 will go further than 100 meters with authority. I've seen shots at 200 meters with .22's, but the shooter was a national level marksman back in S. Africa. Last edited by maarten221; 12-27-2006 at 09:27 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |
