Smile Hello from Southwest Washington

Just joined this site so I am the new kid on the block, even though I am 64 years old. Live in Kelso, Washington and have all my life except for 3 years 9 months 4 days and 8 1\2 hours that I spent in the Navy from 66-70. Been reloading since 1970 and still like doing it. I hunt the dark horse of animals the Black tail deer and elk. Up here in Washington you have to fall down to make a trail in the brush because it is so thick. Anyway I like to build wooden drift boats, go to Wallace, Idaho to ATV every summers for a week, work on finishing my 65 VW Beetle, play with my IH TD-9 crawler. In my spare time I will weld for people if they need it but mostly for myself. Been married for 39 1\2 years, have two grown boys with 3 grandkids. I retired from Weyerhaeuser paper company in Longview, Wa about 2 1\2 years ago as a Tinner, welder, millwright, pipefitter. Worked for them for 40 years. Now I do what all you "MEN" say you don't do and that is "Honey does" .

Welcome to G&G!

I grew up in Longview, WA.

I used to enjoy going out to the Columbia river, and the Cowlitz river to go fishing with my grandfather.

The smelt runs were always a lot of fun, too.

I'll be looking for some stories posted by you.
