Before anyone asks I am 21 years old and calling myself a boy due to certain personal reasons.
My name is Marty and unlike most of the people of my age group I understand rule of law and the constitution of the united states.
Saturday I took my ccw course and tomorrow I apply for the licence at the sheriffs department. You have to set up a meeting in advance or you just agitate them.
My lifes goal is to be a police officer and revolutionize the way law enforcment works. To do that I joined this forum to learn about diffrent ways to operate weapons.
My favorite pistol is the Stoeger cougar. Not to big not too small. Comes in 3 calibers that being 9mm,40 and 45acp. When it was produced by Beretta was available in 357 sig.
I have yet to hear anything about this pistol that I didn't like other than someone said with wood grips it looked like a 1911. But that individual agitated me with their extreme lack of knowledge.I'm not the smartest person but I'm pretty sure my cougar looks nothing like a 1911.
I shoot left handed and have just recently started shooting.
My groups are very tight at 21 feet but I shoot low and to the right. Could be the ammo, could be the firearm.
I make youtube videos as a hobby.
But that is enough about me. Just thought I would say hello
Then you know about the Grundy County Auction Incident? BTW, welcome from the other side of MO.

That was me today. Similar description too.
Just got done getting all the necessary items for my ccw. (money order and paperwork) and decided to go on a bike ride across town to the new shopko.
The girl at the register. I didn't ask her for her number seeing as though I look like a pot smoking teen. Long hair and short beard. That's all due to lack of money.
I bought razors and a soda. She asked me how the day was. Told her the weather sucked then asked if she knew what was going in the sporting goods section.
I have had gang members from my days at jobcorps try stuff with me and deal with no fear.
Welcome! Good luck with the career, and the shooting.
I always shoot a little left when I get a little further back. My problem is I squeeze the grip a little too hard. I know what I'm doing, just can't fix it ha. I still get them all on target though, just generally left side.
Welcome from the Kansas side. I shoot handguns left handed also and have had the same problem. It may take a slight hand adjustment on the grip to fix that Are you left or right eye dominant? That may also make a difference. course some of the experts here may know better than I do
As an old retired cop I wish you luck in revolutionising police work. Not trying to be funny either, I do seriously wish you luck. I will offer this advice about police work. Treat folks the way YOU would want to be treated if the situation was reversed. My first training officer in 1970 taught me that.
As for being agitated, I am a expert at it.
I find drinking lots of coffee, seems to help my personality.
But then again, I cant speak for those who have to be around me!
I also agree 100% with blue fox's comment!
