Hello ,new to gun forums in general/questions.

Hello,
I have dusted off my guns and I need to get an appraisal on them,I am not wanting to sell them but I am need them appraised and I need to have them appraised by next Thursday Dec 14. Is there anyone here that can appraise them or can you point me in the right direction to get an appraisal done on them ? If so please post here or email me at ohio_river_26181@yahoo.com

hey orhiorivervalley srry cant help ya with the apprasal (probably butchered that one) but just wanted to say welcome to the forums. the guys here are pretty sweet and have helped me out figure stuff out with my M1 that I will be usin for everythin lol huntin, general shootin, competitive shootin exc. so again welcome

Welcome to the site. You might try GunBroker.com Online Gun Auction or another auction site to get a value. I don't know if you need an official appraisal, or what. Either way, good luck......!

well i am new and i need to lean about the anatomy of the gun my slang is off and all of the parts people are talking about got me in a knot.

go to GunsAmerica.com i think they appraise guns from 1899 up.

Post whatever info you have on the guns you have along with pictures and we might be ale to help.
Or go and purchase a Gun Buyers Guide.

If you have a good gun shop neer you they should be able to give you what you an appraseal

I would suggest getting an online appraisal via a good website:

Or you can go down to the bookstore or the library & get a book with the stuff in it. I like the online versions a bit better because they are a bit more versatile, but just my $0.02.

Thanks for the advice and info. I could post them here,I do not think the appraisal has to be exact but close. I hate to spend a bunch of $$$ if I do not need to. What would be a good at the local library to look at ?
